What does Compassion look like and should we show it to anyone no matter who they might be?
if we can we should. we should never stop it, or hide it if our heart allows us to show it.
i have met so many types of people that i am wary about what i will show to others but i try my heart to feel compassionate towards everyone.
This stems from something I remember someone said in passing. If a Jew in Hitler’s Germany came across his tormentor needing help, should he give it?
Look at it two ways, offering aid, having compassion for what he needed at that moment would mean probably another day of misery, leaving him behind would mean perhaps day(s) of freedom.
My bible study verse this morning came from 1 Corinthians 13, and my mind went back to this. Am I compassionate enough? Yes to those who mean me no harm, and sometimes to those that do. But I’m in the wrong, compassion should be always, right, not a pick and choose thing?
i think having compassion in heart is quite nice, but showing it can sometimes invite too much trouble. experiences…..
I know. It’s best to have discernment, and also experiences can lead us to be careful.
yes, experiences should be respected.
where are you lady?
Researching. Reading. Taking notes. I do come on, just not as much.
When I read sometimes that people say that they’re busy and hardly have time to blog, it’s true. 🙂
just remember that there are people here who miss you.
so dont get too busy 😦
It’s nice to be miss. 🙂
No, I’ll still stop by. 🙂
just a weekly post and response to comments will be enough for present milady!
i am selfish. i have this facade of being charitable, but it can’t be farther from the truth. i have ulterior motives for helping people. i am selfish. self-righteous, also.
Put an entry of this on your blog and apologize.
