So I was doing my Bible study this morning when I came across this verse. “Can a man take fire in his bosom, and his clothes not be burned?” Proverbs 6 vs 28
The context of that verse and others following it was in connection to adultery. If you are going to marry someone, your whole being should be given to that person. Your sexual desires included. By whole being, I am not advocating that you allow your husband/wife to lead you around like a helpless puppy in total control of everything. If you have read my other posts then you should know where I am coming from.
But why do some feel the need to cheat? Or rather, why do some feel the want to cheat? One should never feel that breaking a marriage vow is a need. If you are married, then before tying the knot you should at least communicate with your significant other your views about what comes after “I do”.
And even if married, a no is a no. This is in view of marital rape. No man or woman has the right to force you into something that you do not want to do.
Have a lovely, sunflower day. 🙂
