In A Lifetime or Eternity?

There was this beggar. He used to sit under a rich man’s table to catch the crumbs that fell from it.

The beggar had a life of misery. The rich man had a life of luxury.

The beggar believed in God; the rich man did not.

They both died.

The beggar went to heaven. The rich man went to hell.

The beggar was comforted. The rich man tormented.

“But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, an likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.” Luke 16 vs 25

Is this it, a lifetime? Or is there more, an eternity? Judge for yourself and live accordingly. šŸ™‚

“Death carries no age limit.” Tupac Shakur

“And you speak of signs and wonders, But I need something other, I would believe if I was able, But I’m waiting for the crumbs from your table.” U2
