How See You?

I remember in junior high one of my classmates asking if the Queen of England uses the bathroom? I thought the question was a curious one seeing that the above mentioned person is human, yes, just like the rest of us.

And during my Bible study yesterday from Numbers 13, especially the last verse, 33, I read this, “And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants, and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight.”

Backstory. God told Moses to send out men to search out the land of Canaan. He did. Twelve went. Ten had unfavorable reports, two did not. Caleb and Joshua saw things differently. That is in chapter 34. The ten were afraid because of the “greatness” and “stature” of the men that they saw.

Sometimes we, or perhaps some of us, put others on a pedestal and place ourselves in the pits. God created all of us. And yes, some might obtain wealth, prestige and title, but for crying out loud, they are not and never will be better than any of us.

So, how are you seeing yourself?
